Well surfing in finland isn´t that regular so after few years of banging my head to the wall i went and bought a bike, made some new friends and took some shots in between all that.

Winter

Winter is on and giving it´s best to us! Weather conditions haven´t been the best for kiteboarding at least when i have had time to go outside so i have trying to find some other perspective for getting athmosphere of the winter to photos and maybe taking some new other kind of photos for me at least.

Early bird catches the worm?

Well i don´t know about that but morning we wen´t out to the spot sight was pretty awesom. Wind was around 22m/s, water level up about half a meter and waves were breaking on the bank whole 200m meters of it. It was pretty much a total mayhem out there!

Wind, wind, wind!

It´s now second week of recovery from the wound in my hand the stitches dd not do the job so have be out from water maybe on more week.

At the time i took these photos wind speed was  20.8m/s according to the Russarö lighthouse. Wind direction wasn´t the best but much better then the forecast was promising.

Nice! Thats the word that comes to my mind! +30c, sun, sea and good friends what else could you want? We were supposed to do freestyle kiteboarding contest also but there was no wind this time... well there was sunday something but not enough.

Laru mini ramp

Some practise shot from lauttasaari mini i´ve never really done skate photographing before and just got my ranger quatra back from service after it broke the flash head. In little bit doubt how's this gonna work and is there enough power in flashes well...  Thanks to Miikka Nyman and Jani Heino everything run smootly and i got the shots i wanted.

...and the thingh i liked the most it´s soooo much nicer and easyer to take photos when there isn´t  10m/s wind -10c and you don´t have to stand in +5c water knee deep for half an hour!! :D
